Well it sure didn’t feel like New Years this year. Spent the day at home alone with Kahlan. Went to a late dinner with a few friends. Came home and barely made it to midnight. Welcome to parenthood!!
What a crazy year it has been. This past year has obviously had the biggest impact on our lives with the birth of Kahlan. Everything is completely different and new. Some days that sucks but most days it is amazing. Every day getting to watch her change and develop. I am looking forward to another year of that at least.
Otherwise I have no clue what this new year will bring, but I hope it turns out to be a good one.
Now back to our first breakfast of the year.
