So I just realized Kahlan has picked up two more signs. They are her own versions of “more” (two claps) and “all done” (flailing arms). I realized it when talking about it to the teacher at school. I ask and sign to her those questions and that’s how she responds. I knew that they usually have their own signs, but I was all worried about her doing something actually close to the sign. I finally realized that she IS kinda doing them.
Now I really want her to learn “food” to be able to tell me she wants a snack or food (instead on milk). And somehow I’d like to teach her the difference between her being done and her being finished. As in she needs to finish her food before she’s all done. Time to do some research!!
