Had a weight check done today at the pediatricians, and Kaylan is now weighing 7 lbs. 12 oz. which means she’s 1 ounce bigger then her birthweight. They like to see them back at their birth weight by two weeks and we did it five days early with no supplementation of formula. The doctor seemed very happy.
So now tonight we can take a bath in the bathtub and work on keeping her stump area clean so it heals nice. This will be mamas first time given her a bath, it should be in an adventure.
