Today I gave Kahlan her first bruise. When I was taking her out of her crib this morning she stretched and squirmed and I almost dropped her. In the process of catching her I slammed her leg into the side of the crib. So now she has a small bruise, and I felt horrible.
And I know you can’t really see it in the picture, but it’s there, right under her knee.
Of course I know that it’s not going to be the last time that I injur her either. Lol
