A Blog for My Daughter

Words from a Mother

This past weekend we packed up Kahlans baby things in the attic. When I say baby things, I mean her playmat & her swing. Things like that, as she’s too big for them now. I even bought some vacuum bags to put her old clothes in.  (Yes, we are keeping everything for now because we haven’t decided if we’re “done” yet.)

It’s very bittersweet. She is growing up and moving more, nearly walking. Learning and problem solving and slowly (but too fast for me) becoming a toddler. She will never be my baby meatloaf again. And that’s sad. But I love to watch her learn and grow.

It’s truly amazing.
